Jemaine Clement has many titles actor, musician, comedian, writer, director and by and large as the jack of all trades he appears to
be the master of all! Born on January 10, 1974 in the Wairarapa.
After moving to Wellington in the 90's he met Taika Waititi (a.k.a. Taika Cohen , Oscar-nominated director of Two Cars, One Night ) at Victoria University where they formed the Humourbeasts. They were awarded one of New Zealand's highest comedy honour, the Billy T Award in 2004
Taika Cohen and Jemaine also worked together recently on a film called EAGLE VS SHARK released August 2007 , a tale of two socially awkward misfits and the strange ways they try to find love; through revenge on high-school bullies, burgers, and video games, another great NZ film it was awarded best Screenplay at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
He teamed with Bret in 1998 to form FOTC to improve their guitar skills and became New Zealands fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo
